Debbie Delahunty
Dr Debbie Delahunty BVSc (Hons) CMAVA Dip Pract Mgt (Vet)
Practice Principal/Owner

Debbie is the Practice owner and Principal Veterinarian at HVH. Debbie spends most of her time consulting with patients and their owners as well as doing surgery and other procedures. Debbie is a Founding Director and a former board member of the Veterinary Business Group (VBG).

Debbie always wanted to be a vet or a zoo keeper for as long as she can remember. She also considered for a brief time as a child to become an astronaut. Luckily she settled on being a vet as I think the career opportunities for astronaut’s would have been very limited!!.

Being with animals all day makes Debbie happy and loves the people she works with. She loves meeting so many wonderful pet owners each day.

Surgery is Debbie’s passion and has a particular interest in orthopaedics. She has completed further studies in ultrasound, surgery and radiology.

Away from the workplace, Debbie loves being with her family; husband Jim & daughters, Georgia & Olivia. She enjoys boating whenever possible, taking the family water skiing. Debbie is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Horsham East. She recently returned from a Safari in Africa and would love to return regularly in a volunteer capacity working with animals.

Dr. Nicole Timms

I commenced working at HVH many years ago. I have seen the practice evolve and change and it has been a pleasure working with the wonderful staff here.

Being here for a considerable time has meant I have had the opportunity to build wonderful relationships with our clients and their pets.

I love watching the bond between owners and their pets. Pets contribute so muc to people and the love and enjoyment they bring is wonderful. It is a privilege to be able to help people enhance the human-animal bond and to ensure that both pets and their owners get the best from that relationship.

Apart from working I enjoy being a scout leader and seeing young people challenge themselves and master new life skills. I also enjoy tap and jazz dancing, reading the odd book when I get a chance and the odd spot of gardening.

At home my family and I presently have 2 gorgeous cats, who live a divine life, being waited on by five human slaves. They meow and we respond. One of my sons also has a bearded dragon called Frank.
